Human Empowerment: Adamawa Gov. Assures state’s citizens of stomach infrastructure

The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrila Bindow has on Monday reassures the people of the state of a well plan empowerment programmes this 2018-2019.

He  said this when he played host as the guest of honor to Constituency empowerment and scholarship  programme organise by the lawmaker representing Yola North in the Adamawa House of Assembly, Hon. Suleiman Alkali.

While addressing the over 3000 beneficiaries of the Lawmaker constituency empowerment programmes at Lelewal Hall in Yola, Bindow told the cheering crowd that stomach infrastructure is what will dominate the last phase of his administration is there is a conscious arrangement to that effect.

Recall that on resuming to office in 2015 Bindow made it clear to the people of the state that his two years in office is going to embark on massive physical infrastructures development and the remaining years in his office are purely on stomach infrastructure in form of Human development and empowerment.

“You can bear me a witness there is unprecedented development in terms of physical infrastructures, in fact I lost count of the number of roads constructed in the state, as I’m talking to you I awarded another road construction in Jimeta town today, now my attention is shifting to hospital and stomach infrastructure. ” He said

He appreciate the effort of the lawmaker for coming up with a laudable program that is people oriented and call on the people to give him maximum support to bring more dividends of democracy.

He also call on all Adamawa State people to imbibe the spirit of peace as without peace no meaning development can be recorded and to always pray for president Mohammadu Buhari for God to give him enabling wisdom, sound health and strength to work for the country.

“let’s continue to pray for president Mohammadu Buhari for him to succeed well in leading us, I’m also pleading with every one of us to live in peace, God in his wisdom bring us together and we must learn to live in peace no matter our differences, we can’t enjoy the giants strides of my administration if we are not peacefully coexisting.” He added

Earlier in his submission the Chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Ajuji Jimeta praise the administration of Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla for setting up a record of development since the creation of Adamawa State in 1992,and been thankful to the lawmaker for consolidating the work of the Governor in the area of empowerment.

He call on the people of the state to as a matter of good governance and development continuity to have no second thought shall Bindow show the interest of contesting in 2019.
