How Yuguda looted N91 billion From Security Votes – Gov. Abubakar

Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi state said, about N91 billion as security votes for the period of 2007-2015.

This was contained in a press release made available to newsmen, as he said the highest of such expenditure amounting to over N17 billion was in 2013.

The special adviser media and communication to governor Abubakar who signed the statement added that N1 billion about N25 billion was spent from 2007-2010.

While in N14 billion was also spent in 2011 with other releases of over N11 billion, N16 billion and N4 billion in 2012-2015 respectively.

It could be recalled that Abubakar had in various fora accused Yuguda of looting the state treasury thereby inherited empty treasury

In this regard the governor has vowed to trace all looted money in the coffers of the state under Yuguda administration.

The governor’s spokesman stressed that facts relating to the expenditures were certified by the state’s accountant general Abubakar Gabi.
