How Registrar College of Education Akwanga Is Resisting Retirement After Exceeding 60 Years

This may not be the best moment for the current Registrar, College of Education, Akwanga who has been running helter skelter to remain in the college after clocking 60 years of age.

Available information revealed that the Registrar, Audu Yashi Mangut was born on the 10th February, 1958 in Plateau State.

Reliable source also unveiled that Mangut would be 35 years in service by 26th July 2018, have begun his service in the college on 26th July 1983  which means  that that by appointment he has just few months to go.

Competent source uncovered that Audu Mangut is relying on the request of the Non Academic Staff Union demanding for 65 years of service as it was obtainable for Academic staff which is still waiting approval by the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

The Registrar in an interview says is not yet time for him to go, stating that he has more years to go on compulsory retirement.

“For the three months leave is optional for me to remain in the school or go for a leave outside the College”.

The State Commissioner of Education, Aliyu Ahmed Tijjani when contacted affirmed that the Registrar, Yashi has reached the peak of his service and must give way for others.
