According to him the whole thing started when two Daughters of late Rev Ishaku Bulus accused Alhaji Iliya Tanimu, to stop parading himself as a lawyer and a human right activist using it to be defrauding innocent people.

The angry Iliya reported to DSS and they stormed Maigamo town from Kaduna to arrest the ladies, but the due intervention of the district head saw the issue resolved amicably.

Unknown to him a magistrate Court in Ikara had earlier strike out the case for lack of merit which was reported by Alhaji Iliya.

He added that to his utmost shocked at around 10:15,Monday,10/10/16 Iliya went and hired Thugs (Yan Tauri) who came in a Golf saloon Car, well-armed and started beating people who were heading to the house of late Rev Bulus.

“When I discovered that some youths has begun to mobilise themselves and news began to spread out to nearby communities, I quickly alerted the police and the DPO of Saminaka complied in time. On reaching at the spot of the clash, five young Kurama people were seriously injured and were rushed to the hospital “.Clement said

Nobody knows Iliya whereabouts as it is believed that he left the town for fear of arrest.

For a long time Iliya have been known to be an alleged trouble make whose bad attitude is known to  everyone in the town but has defied police arrest.

At the time of writing this report all efforts to get the DPO in Saminaka proved abortive as his number was “switched off. “
