How Plateau Speaker’s Driver, One Other Were Killed, 2 injured–Plateau Police Commissioner

The Nigeria Police Force ,Plateau state Command, CP Undie  Adie has confirmed the killing of Plateau State House of Assembly  Speaker’s driver , Azi Magaji and one Edward Ankpa.

The PPRO Mathias Tyovex in a press statement made available to journalists said, he was not driving his principal’s official vehicle when they found him.

According to him, the incident occurred on the 25/08/2018 at about 2100hrs when a distress call was received that there were sporadic gun shots at Zarazong area of Jos which houses Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) Gate 4.

He explained that the command immediately on receiving distress call mobilized its men to the scene and on arrival Azi Magaji the driver to the Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly and Edward Ankpa Titus a security guard with JUTH were found dead.

Adie said the department of rapid response detached department   rushed them to JUTH immediately but were confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.

Meanwhile, two persons, Mr.  Kopdi Monday and Nenman Popdak who were on duty at JUTH Gate 4 were also found with gunshot injuries and were rushed inside JUTH for treatment.

They two victims are responding to treatment. Investigation into the case is on to track and arrest the perpetrators to face Justice.
