How Ombatse Shots Nasarawa Head Of Service; An Eye Witness Account By Rabiu Omaku, Lafia
Fresh fact has now emerged over last week attack meted by Ombatse militant on the Head of service, Dominic Bako while returning from his country home.
An eye witness verified that he was the one driving the Head of Service being a Bare-Bari man as he attested that those that attacked the HOS are Eggon warriors not brigands.
The eye witness has exposed this to the media and stalwartly debunked media reports that unknown gunmen along Akwanga-Nasarawa Eggon highway attack the HOS.
“We were attacked by Ombatse while returning from the country home of the head of service; Ombatse attacked their kinsman (Dominic Bako) after quizzing him with questions”.
“The press only reported the attack launched on the head of service without reporting my own side of the news,I am the second occupant and the driver”.
“In an attempt to escape from our assaulters while returning from along Kafin-Wambai —Shinge road Ombatse in large number handling refined weapons open fired as if we are at war shooting at short range.
While I zoom off, and I discovered that the Head of Service sustains severe gun shoot by the hand, though that did not deter him from addressing the militia group in the next road block”.
Ombatse asked the head of service who are the occupants of the vehicle which he responded that is his driver ,They further threatened him if he refused to resign from Al-Makura’s regime.
