One week after the stability money in the country no fewer than 35 Passengers and road users along Akwanga-Nasarawa Eggon Local Government of Nasarawa State.
A competent source revealed that those kidnapped included a prison warder who was coming from the nation’s capital at about 8:15 Pm at the weekend and was whisked out of his vehicle to join some of their victims.
It was gathered that the kidnappers numbering over fifteen were seen within Broni axis of Nasarawa Eggon, that is the newly completed company built by former Chief Registrar of Federal High Court Halilu Danladi Emvulanza, a building that is a few meters away from the new Nasarawa Eggon market situated at Waya-waya.
Other victims that were identified by their relatives due to phone calls by the kidnappers are two drivers of Sharon and two drivers of J-5 respectively.
Source from Nasarawa Eggon revealed that scores of Igbo people were spotted at the outskirt of Broni , the popular Federal Road Safety Commission checkpoint.
The Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer of the Command could not be reached as at press time for confirmation.
