A statement from the police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, stated that on October 21st, at ikeja police station received a complaint from Patrick that the suspect who is an indigene of Abia state and resides at No 19 Irewale street street, Ipade area, Lagos on Sunday October 20th, stole from him..
According to Patrick, he had invited Deborah to his house to help him and clean up his apartment. He said that he met the suspect at shoprite in ikeja selling some cleaning products for a company and they agreed for #20,000 payment for her services…
When interrogated, Deborah however added that the invitation was not just for cleaning of the house but for sexual reasons.. She said that after having sex, she noticed that Patrick was deep asleep and she quickly took his two phones, wrist watch, designer perfume, some cash and his SUV and escaped from the house after locking him up in the room..
A team of detectives, led by the Divisional police officer ikeja, CSP Gbenga Ogunsaki arrested the suspect and recovered the stolen items.
The police said that the suspect has been charged to court and reminded in correctional custody.
