How Criminal Banker Who Allegedly Killed His Friend, Was Exposed Through Blackberry Phone

A notorious criminal who also is a banker with Finbank, Lafia branch, Aliyu Ndayako from the royal family of Nupe kingdom meet his waterloo after killing his close friend, Engr. Isiah Shinyi who was staff of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) Lafia branch, until he met his death.

The hardened criminal who was arraigned in Lafia prison was granted bail by the instruction of Assistant Inspector General of Police whose name was not mentioned.

The Chief Judge of Nasarawa state, Justice Suleiman Dikko has adjourned the murder case to 18/02/2016 to enable the counsel to Mrs Rosemary Shinyi, mother to late Engr. Isiah to present more exhibits before the court, Ndayako was charged for culpable homicide and robbery.

A crime detective (Investigator) with the investigation unit, Division of the Nigerian Police, Emmanuel Akochi who attested before the court, gave vivid account of the involvement of Aliyu Ndayako as the first accused person (prime suspect).

The counsel to Mrs. Rosemary Shinyi , Bar. Solomon Ihakawa averred that Aliyu Ndayako was caught red-handed in possession of a blackberry phone belonging to late Isiah Shinyi.

The police officer also revealed to the court that the prime suspect has been on the wanted list of Benue state police command.

The investigator also told the court that after the banker (Ndayako) killed his customer he also succeeded in carrying out transaction where he withdrew money from the deceased account.

According to the girl-friend of late Engineer,  Kanu told the investigators that the robbers attacked them while they were coming out from our hotel room.

As we are about coming out of the hotel, armed robbers attacked us and later on took us to a nearby bush and directed the two of us to come down from the Toyota Camry, in a twinkle of an eye the bandits killed Engineer at gun point.

Inspector Akochi said they wrote a letter to MTN Nigeria, and other subscribers, And this seriously implicated Aliyu Ndayako .

Other person implicated in the robbery case and culpable homicide was one Muhammed Bagudu , Akochi said the phone number of Bagudu an indigent of Niger state and resident of Dukku, Gombe state was among those that called the deceased.

The Chief Judge of the high court Lafia, Justice Suleiman Dikko adjourned the matter to 18/2/2016 for the presentation of more witnesses.
