Why wonders they said shall never ever end has continued to be made manifest.
In the early hours of Sunday, October 13th 2019, some group of neighborhood around Orogwe Community Secondary School in Owerri West area of Imo State, saved a very little baby boy.
The little boy which is about 8-9 months old, according to some nursing mothers in the vicinity was allegedly abandoned by his young mother, whose identity and whereabouts is still unknown.
Our Reporter, who visited the scene, met some people (residents) who confessed that the abandoned child was found in an uncompleted building near the Orogwe Community Secondary school.
More so, a good Nigerian-man, who is into General Consultant, Mr. Promise Nwaokorie, alerted the pressman, Comrade Dan Opara, aka Danjay, of the Nigerian Moment Newspaper, Owerri/Universal Reporters, who received the distressed call, got to the uncompleted building and obviously confirmed that the helpless little boy has been clothed and fed.
Mr. Promise, Comr. Danjay, and one of the Umueze Orogwe Community leaders, jointly swung into actions and rushed the child to Ogbaku Police Division, where official entry was made by the rescuer, even as the Police and the general public ensured the safety of the supposed 8-9 months old abandoned crawling child.
His mother’s whereabouts is still unknown as at the press time, but the Police officers assured the Pressman and those who saved the boy that he (the little boy) would be handed over to the motherless babies home owned by the govt.
