House Of Reps Aspirant Seeking To Replace Timothy Golu, Dr. Butswat Urge Politicians To Shun Politics Bitterness

A university don vying for the position of Federal House of Representative under the People Democratic Party (PDP), Dr, Hon Sani Z Butswat has urged the politician to shun politics of bitterness and work together for the common good of all citizens in Nigeria.
The aspirant seeking to replace Hon Timothy Golu, as a member representing Pankshin, Kanam Kanke Federal Constituency, Dr. Butswat said democracy remain the best system of government as he solicits the cooperation and understanding of all a sundry to play the politics without bitterness
He stated this to our correspondence at the NUJ, Plateau State Council, where he bared his minds on the transforming of the constituency if given the opportunity to serve the people of Pankshin, Kanam, and Kanke local government areas come 2019.
Butswat explained that what attracted him to join politics was to use his levels of experience as a civil servant to rebuild confidence in his people by introducing grassroots development.
The people of Kanam are still walloping in need of education so infrastructural development including human capital development which is lacking we are ready to embark on people-oriented projects to provide qualitative service delivery, he added.
Butswat condemned the recent killing of Plateau indigenes by men suspected Fulani herdsmen militia in Bassa, Bokkos, Riyom, Barkin Ladi and Jos South Local Government as an act of inhumanity to fellow man.
He appealed to all politicians to sheath their swords and embrace peaceful coexistence Plateau state had witness series of crisis and loss of lives of innocent citizens so we are calling for calm.
Dr. Butswat charged security in Nigeria protect the lives and properties of Nigerian by ensuring the safety of all citizens especially the farmers who are vulnerable to this herders attack at homes and farmlands.
