HOSA, Holds Maiden Reunion Service Harp On Unity Of Oneness In Nigeria

The  Old Students  Association of Hayatul Islam Private School, Plateau State has held the first maiden reunion service to encourage togetherness as the building blocks of love and understanding amongst to seek the progress of the school.

The President of the Hayatul Islam Private School, Comrade Ikrama Muhammad emphasized the need for the people of Nigeria to promote the spirit of love and oneness for the community to prosper effectively 

He explained further that, as members of this community, we need to unite and work together with one voice by providing constant interaction with themselves within and out of the country on a regular basis.

The union currently has more than 1,000-degree holders in various fields of endeavor, 0ver 50 military and paramilitary officers at all levels, more than 20 students at the Nigeria Defence Academy, NDA, Kaduna, and Police Academy, Wudil, as well as first-class materials both within Nigeria and abroad.

The event, which took place at the school premises in Jos, the Plateau state capital, had in attendance sets of students that graduated from 2005 to 2021 under the umbrella of “Hayatu Old Students’ Association” (HOSA).

He advised the ex-students consider themselves as one, urging them to give out their quota for the betterment of the younger generation.

 The pioneer Head Boy of the School, Mr. Suraj Sarbi, and Umar Ahmad commended the members for demonstrating a commitment to the welfare of the school.

The Chairman, organizing committee both reiterated the need for members to be their brother’s keepers commending the pioneer proprietor and teachers of the school who contributed towards outstanding quality of graduates across the globe.

In their keynote addresses, Dr. Munir Abdulganiyu and Mr. Umar Ali Magaji (Langai), both from Federal University, Kashere while applauding HOSA for organizing the grand reunion, described it as one of its kind, pledging to give their support whenever the need arises.

In their separate goodwill messages, the former chairman of the board of Governors, Alhaji Tanimu Idris, former director, Alhaji Yahaya Ibrahim, and the former principal of the school, Mallam  Adam Umar Nasir called on the ex-students to be the agents of change to aid the younger generation.

Hayatu Old Students Association, HOSA is a student body that has more than 2,000 members who graduated from the school from 2005 to date.
