Hon Ubandoma Joshua ,Vs Hon Amos Kparnim :Court Adjourns To 6th September For Regularization Of Filing Process In Jos

A vacation judge, Justice Nafisat Mohammed of the State High Court sitting, Plateau State has adjourned to 6th September, 2019 for parties to regularise exchange of filing processes.

 

 

The All Progressive Congress, APC, Government Plateau State Chapter had seek to joined the suit filed by the Chairman of Langtang North, Hon Amos Kparnim Nanloh .

 

Justice Mohammed had not commence proper into the originating surmount brought by Hon Amos Kparnim Nanloh of the APC to challenge the Appeal Tribunal judgment which gave ,Hon Ubandoma Joshua Laven  of PDP ,to be sworn in as dully elected Chairman of Langtang North LGA haven scored the highest valid votes cast.

 

In a fresh applications brought by Barr Nantok Dashuwar on behalf of APC seeking to be part of the suit filed by Hon Amos Kparnim Nanloh received extensive argument from the counsel to Hon Ubandoma Joshua Laven ,Barr Niri Darong who opposed the presentation of the application .

 

Justice Mohammed said, they shouldn’t be shutdown at this early stage but rather they should be allow to join.

 

Barr Emmanuel M, counsel to the applicant said he is not objecting to the application of Barr. Nantok Dashuwar ,APC, and M.O Awoko counsel to 2nd &3rd respondent ,N.B Longden (Mrs ) head of Civil Litigation counsel 5&6 respondent ,S.Y. Surface for 7 respondent all didn’t object .

 

Dashuwar (APC counsel) stated that for the application, we sincerely apologized for the absence of omission in service but presented his application dated 29-08-2019 filed and served the same day on all respondents is on convenient of the honourable court to grant them leave.

 

All the respondents refused to object to the application but counsel to Hon Ubandoma Joshua Laven ,Barr Niri Darong objected to the application that is tantamount to constant delay and is gradually affected the reputation of the court

 

However, under the leadership of Governor Simon Bako Lalong he has vehemently refused to obey the Appeal Tribunal judgment that dismissed Local Government Election Tribunal judgment which favour Hon Amos Nanloh kparnim .
