The Member Representing the good people of Wase in Plateau State House Assembly and the party chief whip ,Hon.Ibrahim Adamu Galadima was deeply saddened and shocked to learn of the killings of people when a group of unknown gunmen attacked Kukawa and Bunyun communities in bordering communities with Plateau, Bauchi Gombe, and Taraba States .
The member who expressed deep concern over the incessant attacks in some parts of the state called for urgent action to protect the lives and properties of the citizens.
He made known this on the floor of the house during the plenary session on Tuesday, condemning the act as an unprovoked attack on innocent people.
He strongly condemns all attacks on innocent Nigerians and calls for a full investigation. He underscores that all killings must stop to ensure civilians go back to farming, as the security of lives should be respected and protected.
Galadima sends his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased killed by calling on the appropriate authority to make public information important to provide relief materials to assist those victims.
The incident follows reports of bandits and vigilante clashes, which saw the deaths of two in Kukawa and six in Bunyun communities of kanam and Wase State constituency.
The Member stressed the need for the people to be respected to bring an end to the suffering of the vulnerable communities, where he appealed to SEMA , NEMA to reach out to all people in need.
He also recalls for deployment of security personnel to curb the activities of the menace in the affected communities.
