Hon Haruna Maitala Inspects Projects, Admonish Constituents To Be Constructive

The Member Representing Jos North, Bassa Federal Constituency, Hon Haruna Maitala has admonished the people of his constituent to be embarked on constructive criticism to enable him to learn from his errors rather than engage in unnecessary condemnation and selfish agenda of quick to destroy others.

 

Maitala made this disclosure while inspecting ongoing projects in the Jengre district of Pengana chiefdom of Bassa LGA which is almost 90% completed.

 

He employed politicians to exercise restraint in passing judgment to their representative owning a dwindling economic situation across the globe where funds are not released in time to affect the completion of constituency projects.

 

Hon Haruna who embark on the oversight function of going round to all the ongoing projects initiated by him as part of his campaign promises to the people of his constituent during his electioneering campaign in conjunction with the federal ministry of agriculture and rural development, FMARD, Area 11, Garki Abuja construction of 2km Asphaltic Road and 1km earth road of Rimi village in Pengana chiefdom of Bassa LGA  by Husune Housing & Estate ltd.

 

However, some of his constituent projects include, 2km Jengre -Rimi road which brought about economic hardship to the community during rainfalls, and residents suffered untold difficulty in movement.

 

Hon Haruna Maitala also visited Amo-Katako through Bingchi road which is a 3km ongoing project and a contractor has been mobilized to the site with heavy equipment grading the earth.

 

The teams also visited a completed Government Secondary School, Amo ready for commissioning with modern learning faculties to boost academic activities and a 1 km suburb of Amo town for easy access road connecting the residential areas.

 

Hon Haruna expressed satisfaction with the quality of work by assuring the residents commissioning of all the ongoing projects and two science secondary schools each in Jos North, Bassa Federal wards as a promise accomplish.

 

According to him, the people of his constituent should expect more dividends of democracy and meaningful development as a leader you must be criticized but it should be constructive.

 

The site engineer gave the member optimizing of rushing to complete the road and handover for upward use before raining set in.

 

 

Engr. Abdulrahman Idris says the work would under speedy and within 3 days would ready for commissioning, adding that he receives overwhelming support from the host community.

 

He disclosed that they awarded the contract on 08-08&2020 to Gulu engineering technical service Ltd with a thickness of 4cm albasu .

 

The member inspected GSS Amo which had been fully completed and the equipment with the modern learning facilities and Islamiya Science College inside Jengre which he commended the contractor for finishing and standard job.

 

He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done and prompts completion by site engineering firms and quality witnesses of all the contractors.
