Hon Geoffrey Teme Tasks Irigwe /Rukuba And Fulani To Embrace Peaceful Coexistence

The Former Member Representing Irigwe / Rukuba constituency, Hon. Geoffrey Teme has said tasked all the tribes in Bassa Local Government Area to embrace the path of preaching peaceful coexistence amongst to witness tremendous development under the All Progressive Congress, APC, led administration.
Teme solicited that, if given the chance in the forthcoming general elections he will consolidate on his past achievement of attracting meaningful developments to the people of his constituents.
Teme made this disclosure to our correspondence while answering questions on his ambition to vie for the forthcoming elections to represent the good people Bassa constituency.
He explained that as a former member he will use his wealth of experience as part of the learning during the legislative years to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
According to him, I have been there before and my people trust me so much and I have offered to serve them with all the determination because since the creation of Bassa constituency our people have not enjoyed the dividends of the democracy.
Hon Teme disclosed that for them to move forward they need an experienced hand to lobby for projects that will have a direct impact to the lives of the people and also foster unity love, understanding amongst them.
With my cordial relationship with the government, I will stimulate the state to attract physical development to the area, unveiling plans that the issue of insecurity ravaging will be brought under control, where we will be meeting with key stakeholders to find a lasting solution to the constant mayhem.
He called on the people of Irigwe and Rukuba to see themselves as members of one family but avoid land dispute because we have every reason to forgive one another knowing that we are all Christians believing in one God by imbibing the spirit of tolerance .
Hon Teme promised to organize community stakeholders meeting between warring leaders to end the loss of lives and property to communal land dispute consuming people.
He said APC had so many advantages to win the 2019 elections because the crack in PDP by applauding Gov Lalong for transforming the state inspite of lean resources, also advised people Bassa LGA to go with the ruling party.
