Hon Azi Seeks For More Appointment Of Women As Chairpersons, Secretaries

The National Women Wings of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Plateau State Chapter, and former Jos North Local Government Council Chairperson ,Hon Theresa Ajang Azi has made strong appealed  for more appointment of women by  Governor Simon Lalong in other to meet up  the 35% affirmative action in governance.

 

 

She drop this cheering news at the Hill station Hotel Jos in an interview making case for women to be consider and appointment as councilors, Chairmen and commissions .

 

Azi congratulated governor Simon Bako Lalong for his landslide victory at the just concluded tribunal including the appointment of commissioners designated which they have been screen by the state House of assembly.

 

 

She described Prof Danladi Atu is a man of his words by urging the Plateau citizens to give them the necessary cooperation so that governor simon Lalong can reposition the state to enviable height.

 

Hon called for women to be appointed as secretaries in their respective LGAs as a way of encouraging them to participate actively in politics at the grassroots level in building their political confidence.

 

 

We honestly want to give God the glory because he rightly pointed out that his victory is for the people of Plateau, by telling the people of Plateau that appointing more Izere nation the key positions.

 

She believed that God is going to give Professor Atu the Wisdom of Solomon to pilot the affairs of the state, I know we are train not to be bias or show differences in handling the diversity.
