Hon Afon appeals for more roads linking Pengana

Member representing Pengana in the State House of Assembly and the Chairman House committee on public accounts, Hon. Ezekiel Afon has appealed to governor Simon Lalong to consider the deplorable roads in Bassa Local Government Area  of Pengana chiefdom.

Afon disclosed this during his thanks you tour in  9 wards under Pengana which include, Kasuru ,Kadamu ,Jengre, Bakin Kogi ,Rimi,Zabolo ,Buji Gurum A and Gurum B.

The tour witnessed a large turnout of PDP stakeholder’s supporters and former Chairmen of council, Musa Sule, Jacob Adikaba and Solomon Madugu respectively.

In his address to the people in Kasuru ward, Hon Afon expressed confidence that as a political representative of the people from the grassroots he ensure that the feel the present their problem to government and the dividends of democracy.

He restated that PDP supporters have done very well in the last April elections for remaining committed to progress of the party, we need your support to overcome numerous challenges which led to the party victory.

“My visit today signified that I really appreciate the support given me to clique the seat knowing that there many who vie for this position.

The member charges PDP supporters to rally round and support Lalong government and also shun tribal politics and embrace the progress of the state.

Hon Afon promised them that all the campaign that was promised would be forfil because you people know that we operate rotation and given opportunity to represent you in the state assembly is a welcome development.

“I apologize to all the aggrieved supporters to forget and forgive one another and work together for the peaceful development of the state”,he added.

Adding, ‘we the people of Bassa Local Government never consider religious or tribal differences as anything but maintain love and understanding amongst us.

Speaking earlier the PDP chairman of Kasuru ward, Hon Yusuf Atoyi the assistant chairman LG  thanks the member for coming back to show them appreciation which first of kind .

He called government to identify the immediate need of the rural populace and come to their rescue with meaningful projects that increase the wellbeing of their people.

We are calling on our people to work for the progress of PDP party in the state and build confidence in the live of our people.

Security will be my topmost priority especially to the people leaving rural areas ,as praises the former Member Hon Gondina Sambo for initiating roads connecting communities which abandon on construction, he said.
