Hisbah Arrest 47 Suspects In 3 Operation In Jigawa , Impounds 57 Cartoons Of Alcoholic Drinks

The Jigawa state Hisbah Command has arrested 47 persons, as it impounded 57 cartoons of alcoholic drinks which is equivalent to 684 bottles.

The state commandant Malam Ibrahim Dashiru Garki said after a special operation at Unguwar Babbar Ruga, Gandu Quarters in Hadejia Town twelve people were arrested, seven are male while the rest are females.

The commandant said the Hisba Command has discovered ten houses in the state selling Beer and other alcoholic drinks,  and twelves hotels that house prostitutes which have been described as a criminal hideout.

The commandant expressed dismay over the attitude of the people of Sara and Gujungu villages who shouted at them during the last operation, as they called them thieves saying it is an abuse to the command and members of the joint patrol.
