The name Hajiya Farida Umar is a household name in the political space of Nasarawa State, especially in the Southern senatorial zone, having Awe/Doma/Lafia/Keana and Obi Local Governments respectively.

She is an agile party woman who believes in accomplishing any task given to her no matter how herculean the task is,Farida Umar was an aspirant for the exalted seat of National Ex-officio of the People’s Democratic Party,An election that was recently held in Jos,the Plateau State capital.

Because of her good heart,peace loving fellow she step down for a fellow contender, Sudar Aliyu following advises by heavy weight of the People’s Democratic Party.

Even during the contest she did not see the entire process as a “do or die”  affairs instead always admonished her supporters to play the game according to the rules,the former AGMA leader during the 2023 Presidential election work tirelessly for the  flag bearer of the Presidential ticket of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

She is a compassionate woman,her humanitarian gesture towards the downtrodden is something that need an applause from the general public despite not holding any public position.

Her loyalist knows no bound and she has never show any ambition to contest for an elective position over the years, Farida Umar does not mind spending her last kobo for a contestant.

Hajiya Farida Umar is a Leader par excellence and the People’s delight,A politician who doesn’t show discrimination and a woman that believe in the unity of Nigeria without showing discrimination of any kind.

She is a woman that believe that, we are one Nigeria and nobody should be discriminated irrespective of gender, tribe or religion inclination.
