It’s no longer news that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reportedly declared a supplementary election which was scheduled to hold Today, 9th November, 2021, due to the disruption of election in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the Anambra State Governorship election 2021, has been declared as the winner of the just concluded election results of Governorship in Anambra State.
Indeed, the Financial Consultant has been officially pronounced as the winner of the election. Therefore, “the race is over.”
Soludo made the declaration in a post he shared on his Facebook Page on last Tuesday morning, 9th November, 2021.
Part of the post read: “Let’s do simple mathematics, Ihiala has 148,000 registered voters but only 42,000 voters picked up their PVC. So INEC statistics shows that you won’t get more than 42,000 votes in Ihiala. It is game over.”
Prof.Chukwuma Soludo further disclosed that, “with the current statistics shown by INEC, he will be declared the winner of the 2021 Anambra governorship election.”
Recalled that, the polls could not be conducted in Ihiala on Saturday, 6th November, 2021, due to non-arrival of election materials and irregularities.
It was later extended to Sunday, November 7th 2021, but was thereafter again was postponed to Tuesday, November 9, 2021, by Mrs Florence Obi, the Returning Officer for Saturday’s, Nov 6th 2021 Governorship election in Anambra State.
