The President of Gamai Unity and Development Organization, GUDO, Miskoom Thomas T. Shialsuk has urged the governor-elect to ensure that the administration carry everyone in programme of developing the state.
The group also congratulated Barrister Simon Lalong and Deputy, Prof. Sonni Gwanle Tyoden, on their resounding and well deserved victory at the April 11, 2015 Governorship polls in the State.
Shialsuk noted that the victory was the manifestation of the resolute position of the people of the state to take their destiny in their hands in order to move Plateau State forward.
“We are aware of the daunting job before you, given the fact that you are coming at the time when the polity is yearning for justice and development
Much as we understand the problems before you, we are confident that these challenges can be surmounted given your experience in both in private life and public service”.
He used the opportunity to thank the good people of the state for seeing you worthy of the exalted position and wish God to grant you and your team the strength, zeal and determination to turn the fortune of the state to the PLATEAU OF OUR DREAMS.
We assure you of our total support and commitment to your administration and will be ready to contribute our quota to the development of the state, if the need arises.
