Group Raises Alarm Over Plot To Make Governor Abubakar Win Suit Filed Against Him By Com. Ningi At The Supreme Court

A group of concern citizens of Bauchi state has raised alarm over the suit filed against Governor Mohammed Abubakar by Comrade Tanko Abdullahi Ningi, popular known as Orlando which is at the moment before the Supreme Court, stating that the case may go the wrong way if information at their disposal is anything to go by.

According to the group in a statement signed by its Chairman, Chindo  Abubakar  and made available to Journalists it said; that  Hon.Tanko Ningi should be declared winner of the 2015 general election ,stressing the Governor Abdullahi Mohammed Abubakar wasn’t the APC gubernatorial candidate for 2015 where there is massive irregularities during the primaries .

According to them, they are calling on the judiciary to respect the appeal Court judgment which had sacked the seating Governor Mohammed Abubakar to immediately removed him as the governor and swear in Hon Ningi for the course of justice.

Abubakar explained, “we are calling on the judiciary, and federal agencies to investigate into the matter to safe our democracy from litany in support for President Buhari fighting against corruption”,.

The group express worried with the composition of the legal team handling the case against Abubakar involving Justice (Mrs) Peter Odili as member following the political relationship between the  two families.

The group described President Buhari phantom as true democrat but condemn the illegal declaration of Abubakar victory as the governor under APC in Bauchi state as family business between two friends.

The statement said, Bauchi people reiterated that the rate of abandon projects litters across the state under APC government of Abubakar as misplacement of priority as the administration rolled its drum towards the second tenure in office.

The group urged the supreme court to toe the path of honour and save Nigeria’s democracy from problem of  maladministration and constant abuse of power.
