The  Plateau  South and Central  political Democratic Forum   have drummed support for zoning of governorship to the southern senatorial district.
The group  cautioned  their supporters  to  be aware of ethnic politics  and vote  for southern senatorial candidates in the forthcoming gubernatorial race.
The group warned that no  amount  of intimidation from the government can Change their voice for the  zoning arrangement  .
Chairman of the Forum Engr Ilisha Dimka who disclosed this at the Mariam Kidding private school janitor Adamu in Jos yesterday.
He said, since Governor Jonah Jang did not want to respect the zoning and rotation, which is enshrined in our constitution, we left with no other alternative but to vote out the ruling party out of power.Dimka pointed out that Plateau state is known for the zoning  practice for long ,we are left with no other  options than to call on our sons and daughters to unanimously cast their vote for the southern zone.
He  stressed further that, if  Nigeria is enjoying   six geopolitical zone  for easy administration  one tribe   cannot continue to rule the state for over 30 years, we all agreed that no one is a  minority, but now we are beginning to understand the body language were some agenda of bringing slavery to other ethnic nationalities in Plateau state.
 We have vowed that the forum will resist any attempt to rig the forthcoming delegates and the general elections.
We are watching with keen interest when some youths are being bribed with cars and money to cause confusion amongst us but that cannot work.
Chairman Plateau concern forum ,Professor Dakum Shown also added that,no imposition of Gubernatorial aspirant on our people the next Governor must  come from the south senatorial district.
According to him, the zoning formula must be maintained and the south must  produce the Governor while the central are to produce  the deputy governor.
He warned those  who can not  support this agenda  never to be part of their meeting  because this fight have been shifted to the next generation if we close our eyes .
We are advising the governor to drop his ambition and respect the zoning arrangement .
Shown alleged that the youths were being  used in the church to cause confusion  for the  support of Jang anointed candidate  ,the PDP constitution clearly emphasis that rotation and appointment should carefully maintain  for better service delivery.
He asked the people of the state to remain focus if not the present agenda of anarchy and dictatorship might bring hatred .
The aggrieved politicians who are against the choice of Governor Jonah Jang’s anointed candidate, Sen.Gyang Pwajok for the 2015 governorship polls.
The disagreement appears to be stemming from the efforts of the group to pick a consensus candidate from the Southern Senatorial Zone to challenge Sen. Gyang Pwajok in the forthcoming primaries.
This medium gathered that the leadership of the forum met with all the 7 aspirants from the Southern Senatorial Zone, and advised some of them to drop their ambitions in support of the ideas of a consensus candidate.
A reliable source close to the meeting said that the destructive, tribalistic, ambitious, self-centered and Godless politicians who believe in  devils work, blood sacrifices for the quick political success idea was for all the 7 aspirants to unite behind one person who would then challenge Senator Pwajok.
The this medium authoritatively  confirmed that some of the aspirants were sponsored by government to reject the idea of dropping their ambition, accusing the leadership of the Equity and Justice Forum of taking sides and acting on behalf of a particular candidate, even as they threatened to continue their ambitious independent of the Prof. Dakum Shown led forum.
The meeting that attracted the people of the two zones with the  leadership of the Equity and Justice Forum in Jos, included V T.Lar ,Ambassador Selchum ,Samaila Makama ,Engr. Ilisha Dimka,Prof.Dakum Shown ,Barr. Shittien and  other.
