Group Condemns Alleged Political Incitement By Some Muslims Ummah To Create Crisis In Plateau

Yakubu Busari

The Chairman  Plateau State Chapter of the National Christian Network International,Pastor Sylvester Nanle has disclosed that the body analyzed the position of politics where Muslims Ummah took a stand at their stakeholders’ meeting to cause crisis in the state if the candidate can’t win the rerun scheduled on Friday 4th February 2022 is wrong.

We condemn in its totality where they are taken advantage of our people position taken by the Ummah in an attempt to break our collective peace enjoyed for some time now.

Pastor Sylvester made this disclosure in a press statement issued at the end of the meeting held at No1, opposite Aderije filing Station Rukuba Road on the 3rd February 2022.

However, greetings to all the Christian in the name of Jesus Christ, “You would recall that we came out last year October in 2021, to put our position as the Plateau crusader of the project of the church where we analyzed and commend the wisdom of the leadership of the state government the Jos North LGA election subsequently the governor appointments given to the Muslims Ummah both in Jos North and Bassa LGAs .

We equally commend the Christian leaders in the state for their foresight in that direction for peace to have it place.

According to him, this group is aware that the word “Ummah”, meant the group of Muslim faithful have some religious, economic, and political agenda that is hiding.

Nanle, however, said the position of the Ummah as seen in the current Bassa , Jos North is that of an ungratefulness out to ridicule the good gesture at the time of reciprocation.

We heard over the radio local FM , Unity Fm discussing a program where the Ummah systematically using our own and an indigene of the state to batch a hegemony despite the principle of,” live and let live “, exhibited by this administration.

He maintained that, As leaders, even when we love our brother Hon.Suleiman Kwande , we will not condole this ungratefulness of the Ummah and their crusade team to ridicule the good gesture of the church, the state, and our collective interest because we are aware of the plan.

We rose from this meeting to condemn the un-peaceful position taken by the Ummah in an attempt to break our collective peace enjoyed for some time now.

We have no option but to call on the national Christian network executive in Bassa and Jos North chapter to call the attention of all the Christian & Muslim delegates to refute the systematic political stand of the Ummah as championed by Mall. Nazifi Mohammed others, this is a clarion call on conscience delegates that want the peace in Plateau state.

We condemn the threat that the position of the Ummah has poised against government appointees in an attempt to allow things to burn down houses of fellow Muslims within their for these singular reasons.

We regret the position of using our own against us , using the Ummah to champion the course of Hon.Suleiman because of his faith  This is religious and rot political and we want all delegates to allow this to go to Bassa in the next round since it stands inconclusive.
