The leader of a Political Group known as “Halilu Moodi Campaign Awareness” have revolted and turned arch enemies by denouncing their loyalty to the founder and financier of the association..
Ahmadu Sabo Baban Dako who addressed journalists in Yola amidst hundreds of APC supporters accused Mahmoud Halilu (Modi); a brother to the First Lady – Aisha Muhammadu Buhari of contributing immensely to APC’s loss in the last Saturday Presidential polls in Adamawa state.
Dako identified Modi as the enemy of President Muhammadu Buhari in the state and thus claimed he was instrumental to weakening the votes that Buhari would have gotten from the state.
According to him, Modi mobilized leaders of all polling units with 10,000 naira each while directing them to boycott the polls as a way of frustrating the state Governor’s efforts to deliver Adamawa state to the President.
“I want the whole world to know that Buhari’s In-law is the main cause of APC’s failure in Adamawa state”, Dako was quoted saying.
Baban Dako further remarked that: “the general public should be on the know that no one loves and works for Buhari like Gov. Bindo of the Adamawa state.”
“I’m the ALGON chairman of Halilu Modi group and we are now saying that enough is enough of this blackmail against Bindo, we denounced our support and loyalty to Modi, as we are now pro Bindo and by God’s grace, next week Saturday we will all work to deliver APC in Adamawa state.”
“We are working for no body else than Bindo, he is our next Governor by God’s Grace.” He stressed
Dako called on the people of the state to come out in their numbers to vote for Governor Bindo next week – 9th March for another four years mandate of quality leadership.
