The Federal Government has been urged to enforce the ban on the use of tinted glass on vehicles across the country more strictly.
A veteran Broadcast Journalist, Thomas Daniel, popularly known as Asiwaju Ọmọ, Ọ̀pá Tungba, during his weekly radio program “NAIJA LAWA” at Tungba 90.3 FM Igbajọ̀ in Osun State, said the ban was necessary to tackle insecurity.
He cautioned against playing politics with the ban on tinted glass, given the insecurity crisis in most parts of the country.
He said the president, his vice, the Chief Justice of the Federation, the Senate president, his counterpart at HR, the Governors, and the state chief justice, all chiefs of security services could be granted an exception to use tinted glass on their vehicles.
Thomas Daniel called on the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to take proactive steps in tackling terrorism, Banditry, Kidnapping, and other criminal tendencies.
