Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has assured the people of Udegi-Loko Communities of his administration’s commitment to construct Ajaga-Bakono-Tunga roads.
The Governor gave the disclosure when the people of Udegi-Loko paid him a thank you visit.
Sule said Ajaga-Bakono-Tunga roads is an intervention of World Bank project which is a collaborative effort of Nasarawa Environmental And Watershed Maintenance Programme (NEWMAP).
He hinted that the state Government would also focus on the construction of Idadu-Agbashi road in Doma Local Government Area.
“I will accord topmost premise to Nasarawa-Ara road”.
The Governor’s reaction followed a request by Udegi-Loko lead by the Hon.Member of Udegi-Loko constituency, Mohammed Okpoku.
Engineer Abdullahi Sule said the new road of Abagana-Oweto bridge is a blessing attached with security challenges.
The Hon. Member commended the Governor for the establishment of security camps in the volatile checks marred by insecurity.
He appealed to the state Governor to do more, saying people of the area can sleep with their two eyes close.
