The visitor to the Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia, Governor Abdullahi Sule has approved the appointments of the Acting Rector, Registrar and two Deputy Rectors.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the Chairman Governing Council of the Institution, His Royal Highness, Sani Mohammed Bako !!!, the Emir of Karshi.
The Governing Council urged the appointees to leave above board in moving the Polytechnic forward.
The Principal officers whose appointment takes immediate effect as from 13th Febuary are Dr. Justina Kotso as the substantive Polytechnic Librarian whose is to serve for four years term, while Mukhtar Wakeel will serve as Acting Registrar for the period of six months.
Other appointees are Mr. Loius Ogah to serve as Acting Deputy Rector Administration as well as Ahmed Jubril Ibrahim Acting Deputy Rector Academics for same period of six months.
In a related development, the state Governor has appointed the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, she is Dr. Ruth Jericho from the Kaduna state Polytechnic.
