Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has eulogized his Nasarawa state counterpart Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for his transformation agenda in all sphere of endeavour, Ortom Applauded Governor Al-Makura over his giant stride in the area of education, rural urban road network amongst others.
Ortom described Al-Makura as the best in the present crop of Nigerian Governors,Saying he would not hesitate to copy Al-Makura’s tranformation, The Benue state Governor stated this during a peace talk meeting between the Governor’s of Benue and Nasarawa state,He expressed displeasure over the unabated skimishes within the southern border of the two states.
The Benue state Governor harps on peaceful co-existence among the diverse ethnic groups in the sister states, “Blessed are peacemakers for they shall see the kingdom of God”, He expressed gesture over the harmonious relationship that exist between people of Taraba and Benue state.
The Governor stressed on the need for the two states to strengthened certain loopholes as well to blocked leakages derailing peace talk by warring communities at the border towns.
His Nasarawa state counterpart Umaru Tanko Al-Makura said the join peace talk meeting would sustain and endure security within the borders of Nasarawa and Benue state.
Governor Al-Makura commended Governor Samuel Ortom over the amnesty process initiated, Saying his administration would inculcate the amnesty process.
“The inter phase is at a right footing”, Said Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura,Al-Makura stressed on good neighbourliness among the people.
