Governor Murtala Nyako’s Son Abdul’Aziz Nyako At War With Alhaji Mijinyaya Kugama Over Election

Having lost out in the party’s primary election which was recently conducted to elect the PDP flag bearer for Nasarawo/Binyeri state constituency, bye-election scheduled for May 11, Adamawa State Governor Murtala Nyako has decided to sponsor a candidate in the Kowa Party (meaning the party for everyone.
According to a Government House source, the decision to sponsor a candidate in the Kowa Party was reached at a meeting between the governor, his Commissioners, Alhaji Mijinyaya Kugama and his factions and the governor’s children.

Moreso, the source told universalreporters.info that the governor also agreed to fund the candidate that will fly the flag of the Kowa party up to the time of flag off.
However,  a new twist has emerged to the proposed planned sponsoring of a candidate by the governor, as there has been a serious friction between the governor’s eldest son, Abdul’Aziz Nyako and Mijinyaya Kugama.
Universalreporters.info gathered that the duos are at war with each other, while Abdul’Aziz and the Commissioners on one side rejected the planned sponsoring of a candidate by his father, adding that such will cause more troubles for the governor who has more troubles to bear in his hands. Abdul’Azizi also hinted that the supporting of a candidate to run under the Kowa Party will further make the father be accused of anti-party activities.
However, Kugama, his factions all supported the planned sponsoring of a candidate by the governor, as he Kugama and his group added that the candidate for Kowa Party will surely win the election and there is no one who will accuse the governor of doing anti-party activities.
This disagreement it was gathered led to war of words between Kugama and Abdul’Azizi who began to accuse each other, while Kugama accused Abdul’Aziz of being the brain behind the crisis the governor is facing, he also accused Abdul’Aziz of meddling into partisan politics of the state rather than focusing on his official duty as a Naval officer.
Abdul’Aziz on the other hand also accused Kugama of being the cause of the entire crisis the governor is facing; this he said is due to Kugama’s sheer greed and quest for insatiable wealth which has plunged the Governor his father, Murtala Nyako into the entire crisis he is facing now.
With the way things are now, and with the crisis in the governor’s camp it is obvious that the governor is confused of what next line of action to take couple with the recognition of the Chief Joel Madaki led PDP exco in the state.
