Governor Fubara Appoints Chief Press Secretary

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State on Sunday approved the appointment of Nelson Chukwudi as his Chief Press Secretary.

Boniface Onyedi, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor, made this known in a statement on Sunday.

Onyedi said Chukwudi’s appointment was with immediate effect.

The statement said that the new media aide was, until his appointment, the Acting Supervisory Editor/Chairman, Editorial Board of the state-owned Newspaper, the Tide.

He formerly served as its Acting Editor and Group News Editor.
