Abdulrahaman said this after a name of a commissioner nominee (Ahmad Sajoh) from his constituency was dropped down by the honourable members.
According to him Ahmad Sajoh is not the person the people from his constituency wanted, even as the lawmaker said that he is representing the people of Mubi South in the House and to also do what of his kinsmen from Mubi South wants. According to him he said that they agreed on somebody other than Sajoh whom the Governor equally certified but only today that Sajoh was imposed on them.
“The Governor lied to my people, because he told my people to nominate somebody other than Sajoh, my people never wanted Sajoh because truly he did not contribute any tangible thing to the development of our constituency and as such nobody wants him in our own area,” Abdulrahaman said.
“Take it or leave if the Governor insists against the wish of my people we have 2019 to fight him, but if Bindow agrees to work with us we will give the maximum support to him have, to have a successful tenure,” he added.
When this reporter asked the lawmaker why was he told take a bow and go, he responded by saying that it was done so that he not waste their time. That take a bow and go does not mean that he has been screened by the people.
The dropping of Ahmad Sajoh was rather a surprise and the least people expected being a prolific writer and orator who can fit in well to work for Adamawa state in any capacity if given the chance. His unfailing support of Bindow’s struggle of becoming a Governor, his high profile media work during during Nyako’s administration should be in his favour when he is to be screened as a commissioner.
The lawmakers successively screened 11 commissioners, dropped one for lack of merit and two Commissioners from Jada LGA and Yola South, Dr Fatima Abubakar Atiku and Mohammad Barkindo were successfully screened in absenteeism as they were said to be on official trip with the Governor.

I'm from Mubi south, and i'm strongly in support of Ahmad Sajo for his competency.
