Governor Al-Makura Nominates NSUBEB chairmen, Members of Nasarawa Assembly Commission

Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa state House of Assembly has forwarded names of nominees for chairmen and members in to Nasarawa State House of Assembly Service Commission and State Universal Basic Education Board.

The speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi confirmed the nomination after the majority leader of the House, Tanko Tunga (APC-Awe North) read the governor’s letter at the floor of the House.

Balarabe-Abdullahi urged the nominees to submit their curriculum Vitae (CV) to the House on or before Feb.24th.

“Today, we have received the nomination of Alhaji Musa Isa Mustapha to be screened and confirmed as Chairman of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly Service Commission while Ibrahim Wamba, Florence Ayih, Isa Obagu as Commissioners of the commission while Labaran Maina,  Ali Bako and Luka Ayele as part time members

“The Assembly also received the nomination of Mohammed Dan’Azumi to be screened confirmed as Executive chairman, Nasarawa state Universal Basic Education Board, while Freeman Kasa, Hadiza Alakayi and Jafaru Ango-Mararfa is as member one, two and three respectively.

“While Nuhu Kagbu and Suleiman Umar are to be screened and confirmed as part time member of the board.

“The nominees are to submit their Curriculum Vitae on or before Friday, Feb.24th and to appear for screening and possible confirmation on Monday and Tuesday next week respectively,” he said.

He used the medium to enjoin on the people of the state and Nigerians to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of ethnic, religion and political affiliation for the overall development of the country.

The Speaker reinstated the commitment of the assembly to continue to enact laws that have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.
