Governor Ademola Adeleke felicitates with the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Dr Babatunde Afolabi on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as“ a thoroughbred professional who has been contributing to the medical development of Osun state for several decades”
In a statement issued on Sunday, Governor Adeleke recalled that he has known the CMD for several years, commending his steadfastness in service of citizens within the medical profession.
“Dr. Afolabi is a medical practitioner of high integrity. I have known him for a long time. He is a passionate caregiver. His birthday is an occasion to celebrate a gentleman of the medical world.
“Aside from knowing him in the medical field, he is also a man of long-term personal, social, and family relationships.” I cherish his high sense of professionalism, his commitment to duty, his deep sense of innovation, and his passion for our shared goal to comprehensively develop our dear state.
“Just a few months after assuming office as the CMD, he has proven his competency and his capacity to deepen the upgrading of the teaching hospital in service of the people. On the occasion of his birthday, I appreciate his passion and untiring efforts to surmount challenges and deliver on the Imole agenda for the teaching hospital.
“I join friends and his family to wish him more blessed years on earth and more divine enablement to excel in his field and his other desires,” the governor was quoted as saying in the birthday message.
