There are strong indications that Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi and the Speaker, Federal House of Representatives may be passing through hot political misery as both gladiators have recently engaged the services of journalists in the state to launder their image.
Out of their desperation this medium learnt that Dogara’s media man had offered a set of television and standby generator including cash to woo journalists’ support in his favour and in the same way Comrade Sabo Mohammed, Governor Abubakar’s spokesman was bill to mobilize journalists yesterday for a similar thing.
An insider said, the idea is to gain the support of media apparently to project and launder Abubakar’s image following unending political crisis between the Governor and Dogara as well as other national assembly members from Bauchi state.
Dogara and Abubakar are said to be in serious infighting and crisis between each other over who succeed ahead of the 2o19 gubernatorial elections instead of concentrating on the implementations of their campaign promise.
Recently, an APC Youth Vanguard had staged a street protest in Bauchi where they threatened to begin the recall bid process against Dogara and other NASS members from the state.
Governor Abubakar is allegedly blamed of running exclusive government while Dogara and the other National Assembly members are being accused of ganging up against Abubakar ahead of 2019.
