Gov Yahaya Inaugurates Newly Appointed Commissioners

As part of the effort to enhance effectiveness of governance Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya inaugurated newly appointed commissioners with a view discharge their civic responsibilities.

Governor Yahaya who also sworn in Special assistant and Permanent Secretaries said their appointments were carefully selected.

While congratulating their appointments, he called on them to do as much as possible to ensure that the state is taken to next level.

According to him, your appointment as commissioners is to serve the humanity and therefore their need for you to work hard for a successful governance.

He said their responsibility is to advise government when necessary even as he said government cannot do everything alone.

He enjoined citizens to give maximum support to the newly commissioners inorder to carry the state to greater heights.

Governor Yahaya pledged support to work harmoniously with the commissioners and promise that his government is committed to give them enabling environment to operate.

In a vote of thanks, Barr. Zubairu Umar who spoke on behalf of his colleagues thanked the governor for finding them worthy to serve as cabinet members assured him loyalty and promise that they won’t disappoint his administration.
