All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward chairmen have disassociated themselves from a purported publication distancing themselves from the member representing Misau, Dambam federal constituency, Ahmed Yarima.
This is against the backdrop of a paid advertorial published in one of the national on Monday August 8,2016 by Bauchi state of Nigeria, Misau /Dambam Federal Constituency APC stakeholders Forum on a letter titled “letter of Apology and Common Resolve to Disassociate ourselves from member Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency From Bauchi State, Ahmed Yerima.”
Eight of the 10 wards chairmen of Misau Local Government Area who spoke to journalists in Bauchi said that they are not a party to the said paid advertorial in the National daily.
They also denied appending their signatures that appeared on the said publication alleging that their signatures were forged to show their purported consent for the publication.
The publication allegedly stated that the ward chairmen in Misau and Dambam have all disassociated themselves from Yerima over their lingering feud between him and the state governor.
While speaking, Ibrahim Zango Lawal APC ward Chairman Lawal Kukari/Gundaki Ward said that they are solidly behind their member of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Yarima.
He said “we just got to see this concocted publication in a national daily on Monday, we don’t how they come about signature we are not not party to that, we are leaders of the party at the ward level, and loyal to all members and stakeholders, everybody in the party belongs to us we don’t discriminate among party members no matter your status.”
‘This publication is without our knowledge we don’t know anything about the publication and we are not signatories to it.”

And 6. Abdu Maigini, Hardawa Ward 7. Saleh Adamu, Beti Ward
we all come alone tell the world we didn’t signed anything in that respect ” Lawal said.
Also speaking Sani Mai Lemo, Dukurmi Ward chairman said that they were surprised when they saw their signatures on the said publication.
He said that, they should have been contacted on the issue before the publication of the said advertorial.
Lemo however urged the stakeholders to come together and move the state and the local government forward not to destroy the state through their differences which would not benefit the state and the local government.”
