Goje’s Case: Court Adjourns To 9th July

The case of the Senator representing Gombe Central, Sen. Danjuma Goje ,Sambo M.Dokoro has been adjourned to July 9th ,2019 at  the convenience of Justice Babatude Quadri of  the Federal High Jos Division for continuation of hearing on 8&9 charges of auctioning of vehicles.

 

It would be recalled that, the emergency sitting was held for the attorney general of the federation to take which was represented by Assistant Chief solicitor general of state as prosecution counsel”.

 

The Prosecution counsel, Assistant chief attorney general of state, Oyadele Oyalami told the court that Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, has effectively transferred and took over the delivery and another case was filed on Wednesday .

 

He urged the court to grant him more time to studies the volumes of background of the voluminous issues contain in the suit.

 

Oyalami commended Justice Babatude Quadri for the volumes of work done ,saying the documents is quite big but federal government understand the consequence for asking for time to work properly in the matter before proceeding.

 

 

My Lord ,it is our plead that court should grant us time to studies carefully .

 

Meanwhile, counsel to Sen Danjuma Goje and S.M Dokoro couldn’t object to the application for adjourned July, 9th 2019 .
