GOC Rukuba Barrack Receives   Africa Meritorious Service Award For Good Conduct

The GOC 3 Division and Comd OPSH, Maj Gen IS Ali was recently conferred with the Africa Meritorious  Service Award for Good Conduct by International Free Media Organisation at his office.

Presenting the award to the GOC, the Executive Director of the organisation, Mr Abdulmalik Ohis noted that the award was in recognition of Maj Gen Ali’s sacrifice, courage, exemplary leadership, loyalty and uncommon commitment to the course of peace and security on the Plateau and the country at large.

Mr Abdulmalik remarked that their organisation has keenly followed the effort of Maj Gen IS Ali towards the restoration and maintenance of peace and security on the Plateau. According to Mr Abdulmalik, that is what accounted for Maj Gen Ali’s selection for the honour to encourage him to do more for the nation.

Responding, Maj Gen Ali, thanked the Media Organisation for the honour. He dedicated the award to the gallant officers and personnel that are working tirelessly for the maintenance of peace and security on the Plateau. He assured that, the award would encourage him, the officers and personnel under his command to do more to maintain peace on the Plateau and the nation.
