GGESI Declares State Of Emergency In Governance, Set For Evangelical Seminar In Owerri, Dec.13

As part of the promotion and agitation for good governance in Nigeria and in Imo State in particular, a non-political organization but a very strong evangelical support initiative known as Good Governance Evangelical Support Initiative, GGESI,( the Evangelicals) through the President/Founder, Evang. Samuel Ezeji, has expressively declared State of Emergency for Governance in Imo State.

 

In a media paper released to newsmen on Wed.Nov.28th 2018 in Owerri, the President, Evang.Ezeji, presented the topic: the Evangelicals Good Governance Summit with the theme: “Unfolding God’s Expectation from his People in Governance”, according to Prov.29:2,Ezekiel 33:6-9.

 

The summit would be under the Chairmanship of Rev. Dr. Engr.Livy Nwakwasi, of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO.

 

Also the Former Imo State Chapter Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Bishop Stafford Nwaogu, who is the Presiding Bishop, Praise Center Ministries Worldwide, Owerri, as the Guest Speaker.

 

Evang. Ezeji further disclose that the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, will be serving as the Special Guest of Honour, whereas Guests of Honours shall be All Legislators/Political Appointees, All Political Party Candidates, All Religious Leaders from across the churches in the state, All Traditional Rulers ( Royal Fathers) and All Captains of Industries/Heads of Higher Institutions in Imo State.

 

President Ezeji disclosed that the summit would be taken place at premises of Government Secondary School Owerri, along Owerri/Okigwe Road by 12 noon, on Thursday, Nov.13th 2018.

 

Ezeji, in his release, therefore unveiled  that “All forms of evil is growing every day in Governance, there becomes a need for the Evangelicals to rise up now and do something because “The Lord will require it of you, oh! Evangelicals, what you did to enthrone Godliness in Governance in your Land”, cited the book of Ezekiel 33:6-9.
