The former Internal Affairs Minister and the former Senator that represented Plateau Southern Zone General John Nanzip Shagaya has died in a ghastly motor accident on his way to his hometown, Langtang.
The late General John Shagaya (Rtr) was just appointed as the Chairman National Institute for Policy and Strategy Studies (NIPSS).
Information available to our medium indicates that the general was driving back to Jos after attending a burial of his nephew who was killed in Benue state during the herders /farmers killings.
Late General Shagaya led the Arewa Elders forum on condolence visit to the people of Benue state and returned to his Gold and base residence and then departed to Langtang North.
