Ganduje Urges Muslims To Continue Praying For Peace

Kano state Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Friday, the Edil Fitr, while congratulating the citizens for successful completion of Ramadan Fasting, he appealed to them to continue offering prayer in order to have absolute peace in the state and the country in general.

The governor who made the plea in his Edil Fitr celebration message at Africa House, Kano Government House urged them to cooperate with the government in its effort in improving the living standard of the people

“We request members of public to cooperate with us so that we get the wisdom, we get the motivation, we forge ahead to ensure that our state is the best state interms of development, peace and stability in Nigeria.

“We shall continue praying to Allah to protect us from the security problems we are facing now. On our side, the government will continue executing projects and programs for the development of the state,” the governor assured.

Dr Ganduje urged people to continue submission themselves to the service of God even after the month of Ramadan so as to be colder to Him forever.

Earlier, the governor with his entourage attended Edil Fitr prayer held at Sheik Ahmad Tijjani Mosque, Kofar Mata in Municipal area which was led by the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.

He later attended Hawan Sallah at Gidan Shatima were he congratulated the emir for the successful ending of Ramadan Period.
