Four Nigerians diagnosed of the Ebola Virus has been discharged from the hospital after they recovered from the sickness, this now makes it a total of five persons that has been discharged in the last three days.
Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, announced this in a statement signed by his media aide, Mr. Dan Nwomeh.
The statement read thus: “The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, has announced that four additional confirmed cases of Ebola Virus Disease who have been managed successfully and are now free of the disease have been discharged home today.
“They are two male medical doctors and one female nurse. The three participated in the treatment of the index case while the fourth person was a female patient at the time the index was on admission. This brings to five the total number of patients diagnosed with Ebola Virus Disease who have now been discharged from hospital.”
