Forum Of Former Assembly Members Recommend Government Of Lalong To Diversify State Economy Through Agriculture

The group under aegis of forum former members of the Plateau state House of Assembly, FFM Interim Chairman, Hon. Maimako Bello Kwanwatu has recommended Governor Simon Lalong to focus on the diversification of the state economy through agriculture.

The FFM in a press statement jointly signed by Hon Maimako B Kwanwatu and the secretary Hon Victor Samson made available to journalists in Jos.

Kwanwatu stressed that the area of Tourism and Solid Minerals to improve the revenue based, thereby creating employment opportunities for the teeming youths.

The FFM disclosed this on the 12th August, 2016 at a general meeting held recently, appreciates the people of Plateau state for the support given to one of their own-the Executive   governor of Plateau State, Rt Hon.Barr Simon Bako Lalong in the election.

He lauded the government in her efforts at completing uncompleted projects embarking by the last regime and also introduced new ones.

Kwanwatu commends government for settlements of arrears of salaries of civil servants up to June, 2016 respectively.

He expressed satisfaction with the government efforts towards revamping the economy of the state, especially the reconstruction of the Jos main market, resuscitating the ailing industries such as the BARC farms ,Jos international Breweries ,the Britvics Bottling Company ,The Bokkos fertilizer blending plant, the Panyam Fish Farm among others.

He commended government for reopening and resolving the crisis of the Plateau State University, Bokkos.

They association also call for prayer for wisdom and protection as he pilot the affairs of the state.
