Former Speaker Lafia LGA Hails Engineer Sule Over Appointment

The former Speaker of Lafia Local Government Hon.Ahmed Uba Arikya has commended the Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule over the last set of appointments of Commissioners of the Nasarawa State Independent National Electoral Commission, The Permanent members of the Local Government Service Commission as good start for his second term.

Hon Uba Arikya stated this in an exclusive interview with Universal Reporters shortly after the inauguration ceremony held at Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, The seat of power.

The Chairman forum of former Councilors in addition maintained that the appointment is a clear manifestation of a Governor with focus and candor.

Another appointment that Hon.Ahmed Uba Arikya hailed Governor Abdullahi Sule also includes the confirmation of the Head of Service, Abigail Waya as a substantive Head of Service including another set of twenty Senior Special Assistants and Special Advisers respectively.

Hon.Uba affirmed that the appointments were based on meritocracy and the popularity of every personality.

Urging supporters of other political parties in the State to join the winning team and the ruling All Progressives Congress, saying the performance of Engineer Abdullahi Sule has exceeded all expectations.

Calling on those in charge of palliative in the State to exhibit maturity and fear of God by enduring that the items went around especially the hapless people in the society.

Hon.Ahmed Uba Arikya called on all and sundry to accord their total support to the incumbent administration of Opposition political parties to set aside their political differences and

He buttressed that the State under the current administration has achieved a lot ranging from the employment of lecturers in higher institutions of learning, Secondary Schools Employment in civil service with a view to clear the State of casual staff.
