Former Deputy Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Defects To APGA

The erstwhile Deputy speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon.Elisha Agwadu has defected to the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

The state chairman, Musa Saidu alongside the governorship running mate of the party and other stalwart of the APGA welcome the two time Deputy speaker to the party fold at the party secretariat along Jos road.

Others that also defected to the APGA include multitude of supporters of Agwadu, also a front line woman politician from Kokona Local Government, Madam Rhoda join the party.

The chairman eschews the defectors to exhibit maturity while in the party.

Saying no segregation between APGA members, adding that all members would be treated equally.

“We handed over our party constitution to the new members and this will give them the chance to go through it”.

While commenting on the rift that engulfed the party at the national level leading to Agbaso faction, Musa Saidu described the cacophony as forgotten issues.

“The internal wrangling has been taken by event and the crisis put to rest”.

Calling on the leadership of the party to instill discipline in the party by punishing irate party members.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the ongoing fight against corruption and insecurity, saying the unity of Nigeria became imperative.
