Former Council Boss, Lauds President Buhari For Nomination Of Barrister Dalung

The former Chairman of Barkin Ladi, now a stalwart of the All Progressive Congress ,APC ,Plateau state ,Hon Jock Alamba has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for the Nomination of Barrister Solomon Dalung among the lists of ministerial nominee under his cabinet .

Alamba stated this in an interview with our correspondent at his resident in Jos Local Government Area, Jos.

The National leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Jock Alamba expressed disgust over the protracted attacks senseless killings in Plateau state.

He has however challenge the State Government and the Security apparatus taking vigil on the affairs of the state to tighten up efforts in fighting the criminals behind the attacks.

Speaking further at his residence along Zaria road in Jos, the plateau state capital, the APC stalwart said act where criminals are treated with hand grooves is not acceptable.

“You will find out that these attacks have continued since the last regime and impending threat has posed negative danger, and these seems to be going on because the security have seemed to be aiding and abating criminals, we have cases where criminals are arrested with concrete evidences   that they actually committed the crimes and yet, they are not punished, You still see them on street the next day.

This has given them confidence that to continue doing the same crime day in day out.

He caution Citizens against the use careless utterances on issues of security as it relates to suspected attackers, stressing such statements sometimes provoke attacks.

Speaking on the ministerial nominees across the country, Alamba described as a welcome development, particularly, the nomination of Bar. Solomon Dalung  as ministerial nominee from Plateau state.

He appealed to the public to shun sentiment in judging the pedigree of the people nominated by President Buhari to serve with him in the desire to fight corruption.

He said President Buhari had proven that even without the cabinet has demonstrated firmness focus courage to arrive at the choice he made so far.

He said Powers come from God and people should stop complaining at this early stage but give President the benefit of doubt that the nominees will not disappoint them but will change the fortune of the country.

He said, the people of Plateau state welcome the nomination of Solomon Dalung and indicate readiness to work with him toward promoting plateau project.

Alamba stressed, “general speaking we are aware that President Buhari took his time to carefully search for people who will share his own vision by bringing competent people to do the work which he believe that what come out will move the administration forward.

He added that president Buhari blueprint is moving the country best on objectivity not on sentiment.

The former council boss condemned the character of criticism of leaders that has bewildered us as people for quite some time; no president past, present cannot be under pressure from the general public.

He advised Christian, Muslim and pagan to believe that power came from God so we should give room God favour considering the basic benefit we shall inherit.
