The immediate past National Vice Chairman North-Central Zone, Hon. Abdullahi Zakari Idde was today laid to rest according to Islamic rite.
Idde before his emergence as the National Vice Chairman north-Central of the ruling All Progressives Congress in-charge of middle belt was a Governorship candidate of the party in 2015 General election.
He is a Governorship candidate in 2015 election but lost to the incumbent Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Alhaji.Sule in the party primaries.
Abdullahi Zakari Idde is a two time member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, he was a former majority leader in 2003 elected under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party.
Those that grace the funeral prayer included the former Governor of the State, Abdullahi Adamu, Arch. Shehu Tukur, APC Governorship candidate in 2015,Labaran Maku, APGA Governorship candidate, Hon. Halilu Emvulanza, APC Governorship candidate.
Others are the State Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State,Hon. Emmanuel Akabe, the Chief Judge, Justice Suleiman Umaru Dikko, Hon. Muhammed Alkali, Member representing Lafia East and amongst other traditional rulers.
