As encomiums continue to pour in for senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship flag bearer in Delta state, we lend our voices with Deltans and in Diaspora to drum support for the governorship project of Okowa.
This is one project that we must all come together to support. I have refused to use my platform to campaign for anybody irrespective of who you are, but the Okowa project is one that you cannot ignore or wish away.
It is for the love of Okowa and Deltans that I pen this article, that you hold us in the media accountable if Senator Ifeanyi Okowa does not deliver tomorrow.
Next month’s governorship elections in Delta State are not about the PDP, APC and Labour Party, it is about Okowa and the PROSPERITY which we seek to enjoy in Delta state.
On the 29th of May, 2015, just like Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan had said, “at exactly 12pm, he will become Ex Governor.”
It will not be a victory for Deltans alone; it will be a victory for all. Irrespective of the fact that you come from Delta or not. As the PDP governorship campaign trend transverse the length and breadth of Delta State, from Oshimili North, Ethiope West, and even Ika, the ground soil of the giant and other Local Government Areas of the state, we are poised for a NEW DAWN in Delta.
In Lady Edith, Deltans and non indigenes in the state will experience a MOTHER FIRST LADY. Your challenge is her challenge.
Senator Ifeanyi Okowa haven tasted the basics of Government positions from the local government to the Federal level, understands that grassroots development is what we need in Delta state.
PROSPERITY to all Deltans is for all. It is not a mere statement, it is a tool that will be implemented in Delta state. This can only be actualized when we all join our hands with Okowa to make it work.
